Sonoran Desert Bird Necklace

This is quite a special piece! I've highlighted 7 of the special Sonoran Desert birds; the cardinal, the quail, the Arizona woodpecker, the cactus wren, the mourning dove, the great horned owl, and the roadrunner in flight. From my drawings I acid etched each of the birds in silver and overlaid them onto simple copper discs. I made the chain and connected everything with copper banding to tie it all together. The piece has a simple clasp. There is an assortment of Sonoran bird earrings that can accompany this necklace that can be found in the Desert Collection. The overall necklace is approximately 28" long and each copper disc is approximately 1" in diameter.
